MShort Film. Short Impression

Was just going for a walk in the autumn rain and took some pictures. As a mental response and with the inspiration from the shortfilms of yesterday i made my own.
But first two images that didn't fit in:

And now the short film called City Impression. It's a on bord tools production in Apple Quicktime Format. Aprox. 1,5MB.
Yeah, Thanks.

Filmfestival Simrishamn

The Great Organisator aka Julia organized a trip to Simrishamn to visit their Shortfilm Festival.
We almost got there in time at 13:15 to watch the first part with animations, some were good some bad, like it is almost everywhere at shortfilm festivals, at least in my experience.
The program went on with "Reclaiming the public space" where my favorite was a film composed merely by thousands of pictures in a row about people living, working, building, create capital, of politicians and finaly pictures of the demo at the G8 congress in Genua.
The next part "New Film & Video From the UK", was - arty. Let's leave it with that.
At the last thing we managed to attend was the "Open Scene" with some nice movies...., but then we had to go.
There were really a couple of nice films, but after 6 hours watching it's enough. If you want a one second experience of the afternoon click on the second picture :-)

couch invites 4.11.04

Hi everybody,

It's time again to rock and roll! The next couch invites party is going to happen, sadly for me at the tower in Bremen...
But for all that have the possibility on the 4th of November. Be There! There are the best DJs, the best guys and of course the best girls! :-)
Sorry Julia.

Tram, the old fashioned way

Julia and i made a nostalgic trip with a historic tram in Malmö
It was very nice and "gemütlich", but it's unbelievable that it has been an advantage over walking, when it was used as a means of transportation :-)
In the picture below you can see the conductor switch the electricity supply to change driving direction.

Funny Nightmare: Guitars, Jodeling and Bikebashing

Went to Gitarrmongot (Guitar Mongo) last night, a swedish movie about swedish life of 'normal' swedish people.
The star is a young boy, who 'plays' guitar in shopping streets and 'sings' more or less, sometimes Elvis-like, sometimes just crap. But the movie has several story lines, that are not realy connected.
One is about a mentaly disabled woman, that has to check at least 20 times if her door is locked. She puts flyer up throughout town, because she can't find her red bike anymore.
Another story line is some guys who throw bikes in the harbour or put them over lampposts, one is of course red. For a bike lover like me that was hurting a lot :-)
An so on. Other guys play with helium and make funny noises, or bang their head with bottles, or play russian roulette....
Despite the fact that nothing realy happens it's never boring. Not even if you don't understand swedish :-)
